Data deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of the personal data that Rubit Corporation SAS ("Rubit") processes through its app on the Meta (Facebook) platform and its WhatsApp assistant (RubitBot).

How to request deletion

  1. 1Send an email to contacto@rubitcorp.com with the subject "Data deletion".
  2. 2Include the WhatsApp phone number you used to message us (for example, the one starting with +57) so we can identify your data.
  3. 3Optional: tell us which data you want removed. If you do not specify, we will delete all information associated with your number.
  4. 4You can also message us on WhatsApp at +57 316 3663543 with the text "Delete my data".

What data we may hold

When you interact with our WhatsApp assistant we may record: your phone number, your WhatsApp profile name, the content of the messages you send and receive, and the conversation history. We use this data only to handle your request and for commercial follow-up.

What happens next

We confirm receipt of your request and delete the data associated with your number within a maximum of 15 business days. Once the process is complete we send you a confirmation through the same channel. Deletion is permanent.

Exceptions

We may retain certain information where a law requires it (for example, tax or accounting obligations) or where it is necessary to handle claims or defend rights. In those cases we keep only the minimum required, for strictly the necessary time.

Deleting from your device

Deleting a chat on your phone only removes the copy on your device; it does not delete the data from our systems. To remove it on our side you must send us the request described above.
